Role

In developing Mototrail, my primary role encompassed crafting an intuitive and responsive bike controller to deliver an immersive gameplay experience. Additionally, I took charge of implementing diverse obstacles, timed gameplay elements, and gravity modifiers, ensuring each challenge added depth and excitement to the game. Collaborating closely with the game designer, I played a pivotal role in bringing their vision to life by translating intricate level designs and UI elements into engaging gameplay mechanics, resulting in a seamless fusion of artistry and functionality.

Challenges

In developing Mototrail, I encountered several challenges that pushed the boundaries of creativity and precision. Crafting diverse obstacles and gameplay gimmicks for each level demanded meticulous planning and execution to ensure they seamlessly integrated with the game's art style and enhanced the overall experience. Additionally, implementing various UI elements, including stores and other features, required careful consideration of user interaction and visual coherence.
